The company we are building

  1. The public

Safety, useful AI and responsible growth.

  2. Our customers

    Practical software. Fair accountability.

  3. Our people

Opportunity, trust and room to grow.

Why ASIP exists

We built ASIP around a clear purpose: create the software we would want to use and confidently recommend.

We know what it is like to spend most of the day entering data, chasing KPIs, and preparing reports instead of being out with the team. We have seen important warning signs sit in separate systems while the people who needed them struggled to see the whole picture.

ASIP exists to change that. We are building an AI-powered safety and operations system that replaces fragmented tools and helps people understand what needs attention. The purpose is practical: less administration, better decisions, and more time where leadership matters.

This Social Contract sets out our commitments to the public, our customers, and the people who will help build ASIP. These principles guide ASIP today. We are clear below about the programs we plan to introduce as we grow.

Commitment 01

Our commitment to the public

Support safe and empowered workplaces

Everyone has the right to a safe and empowered working environment, whether they work in technology, aviation, leadership, or on the frontline. A workplace free from hazards, incidents, and violence is a fundamental goal. People should be able to contribute, raise concerns, and participate in making their work safer.

We are human, and humans sometimes make mistakes. ASIP is built to help identify gaps, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement so people can address them before a serious injury or accident. Prevention depends on making risks visible and acting on them, while recognising that no software can guarantee a workplace without incidents.

Put useful AI to work

AI should earn its place by helping people. We are building it to bring relevant information together, surface emerging risks, and take on time-consuming work such as preparing meeting notes and drafting action plans.

People remain responsible for decisions. AI can be wrong, and its outputs need appropriate human review. Our ambition is an assistant that helps people understand and act, with evidence they can question. Our Artificial Intelligence Customer Notice explains that approach and its limitations.

Grow responsibly

ASIP is a for-profit company. We believe lasting value comes from useful products, responsible stewardship, and earning trust. Fiduciary responsibility comes before corporate greed. We intend to operate leanly, invest thoughtfully, and build a business whose success supports the people who rely on it.

Build sustainability into our choices

ASIP has invested in its own AI hardware to limit reliance on external data centres. Ownership alone does not make computing sustainable. Energy use, equipment, and the way we operate all matter.

Our goal is carbon neutrality. We also intend to pursue an EcoVadis sustainability rating and ISO 14001 environmental management certification when feasible. These are goals, not achievements we claim today. We will distinguish our intentions from results we can substantiate.

Commitment 02

Our commitment to customers

Build software worth using

We are building a unified system that people can use for their daily safety and operational work, replacing fragmented tools rather than adding another reporting layer above them.

As more of an organisation's work happens in ASIP, its reports, documents, KPIs, and corrective and preventive actions can provide richer context for decision support. The aim is useful, timely feedback for frontline teams, safety professionals, leaders, and executives across stations and locations.

Give people their time back

Every avoidable duplicate entry or manual reporting task takes time away from people and operations. We will design for simplicity and automate where it is useful, while keeping appropriate human oversight.

Success means helping a leader understand what is happening and what needs attention. A green dashboard, on its own, is not the outcome we are building for.

Keep safety visible

Operational performance deserves more than a profit-and-loss view. We want customers to see efficiency, safety, and risk together, so they can make better-informed decisions before problems become harm. We will be honest about what the product can do today and what remains in development.

Support a Just Culture

ASIP believes in a Just Culture: an environment where people are treated fairly, honest mistakes become opportunities to learn, and accountability considers the circumstances as well as the outcome.

ASIP is not a disciplinary portal or designed to single out individuals. Its purpose is to help people understand what happened, identify contributing conditions, and improve the way work is done. We want the information people share to support prevention and learning. Fair accountability and responsible human judgment remain essential.

Recognise the people making work better

Workers deserve recognition for their contributions to excellence and safety. ASIP includes a dedicated recognition module to celebrate people who consistently go above and beyond, including those who identify risks, help others, and contribute to improvement.

Recognition should reinforce safe behaviours and meaningful contributions. Reporting a concern or an incident should never undermine the value of someone's contribution to making work safer.

Commitment 03

Our commitment to our people

Respect people and develop talent

We hire the right person for the role, based on skills, potential, and what they can contribute, not to fill a quota or tick a box. Gender, sexual orientation, faith, or background will neither qualify nor disqualify someone. We value the different perspectives and experiences people bring; that diversity helps make ASIP distinctive and outstanding. Everyone deserves respect, meaningful responsibility, and the support to succeed.

As we build our team, we intend to create experience and mentorship opportunities for emerging talent, including college graduates in safety management, social media, and data engineering. Potential deserves support as well as expectations.

Trust people to deliver

Our planned working model gives people flexibility over where and how they work, with clear goals, deadlines, and accountability. We do not intend to make a conventional Monday-to-Friday, eight-to-five desk schedule the measure of contribution.

Our goal is a brief daily all-hands alignment meeting, timed to accommodate the team’s locations and time zones. Beyond that, we want to protect focused work and life outside work, with clear priorities, agreed deadlines, and only the meetings that genuinely help people move forward.

This is the model we plan to establish as we hire, rather than a description of an existing employee program.

Invest in learning and wellbeing

Continuing education, a healthy mind, and a healthy body are fundamental to the company we want to build.

We are looking to introduce an annual learning and wellbeing bursary through our planned 2027 employment arrangements. It would support professional development relevant to each person's role, including college courses and safety or design certifications, alongside activities that support the mind and body, such as yoga or pottery classes.

This benefit is not yet in place. Details and written program terms remain to be established. We want our people to have room to develop both professionally and personally.

Support health and wellbeing

As ASIP becomes financially able, we plan to introduce U.S. employee benefits covering medical, dental, vision, counselling, and wellness, targeting 2027. These benefits are not yet established. Their introduction depends on ASIP's financial ability, and coverage and program terms will be set out before they take effect.

Holding ourselves accountable

These commitments should guide what we build, how we spend, and how we treat people. They should also give customers, future colleagues, and the public a clear basis for asking whether our actions match our words.

We will keep current practices, planned programs, and long-term goals clearly distinguished as ASIP grows. We want feedback when something falls short, and we want the opportunity to improve it.

Our standard is straightforward: build a system we would want to use, and a company we would want to work for.
