ASIP Screens

Coming soon

Digital signage

Safety signage for every wall at every site.

Safety-focused digital signage from the ASIP family. Put your messages, media and safety information on the TVs you already have, and run every screen at every site from one place.

Two screens free. No card until the third.

This app is powered by ASIP Technologies, Inc.

Where the build stands

Sign-up is open. The players are still in build.

Sign-up creates your ASIP account with two free screens and no card. You add a card only when you pair a third screen.

The TV apps and the web player are in build, and the TV apps are not in any app store yet. Anything on this page marked Planned is not ready to use yet, and the device pages show where each player stands. We will not put a date on it.

How it works

Pair a TV, build a playlist, pick your screens.

  1. Step 01Planned

Pair a TV with a code

Open the ASIP Screens app on the TV and it shows a short code. Type the code into ASIP and the screen joins your site.

  2. Step 02Planned

    Build a playlist

Upload images, video and documents, add web pages and put them in the order you want. Add a live safety board if you are on ASIP Enterprise.

  3. Step 03Planned

    Pick your screens

Send the playlist to one screen, a group or every screen at a site. Your dashboard shows what each screen is playing and whether it is reporting.

Who it is for

Safety information on the walls your people already look at.

Sites and floors

Safety and operations teams

Put briefings, reminders and site notices where your people look: break rooms, hangars, warehouses, gates and lobbies.

Many locations

Companies with more than one site

Group screens by site or area and send the right content to the right wall without walking up to each TV.

What it does

What we plan to ship.

Planned

Your TVs, no special box

Run Screens on Amazon Fire TV, Google TV and Android TV devices, or open the web player in a browser on any display.

Planned

Pair with a short code

Open the app on the TV and it shows a short code. Type that code into ASIP and the screen joins your location.

Planned

Playlists and media

Upload images, video and documents, add web pages, and build playlists. Your dashboard shows what each screen is playing now.

Planned

Groups across sites

Organize screens by site, building or area. Send one playlist to a whole group instead of setting up screens one at a time.

Planned

Emergency takeover at the affected location

If you use ASIP Crisis, an emergency activation can take over the screens at the affected location with a full-screen message or a banner. Screens at your other sites keep their normal content.

Planned

Screen health and proof of play

See which screens are reporting and which have gone quiet, and keep a record of what played, where and when.

Planned

Live safety boards on Enterprise

ASIP Enterprise customers can put boards built from their own ASIP data on the wall, such as hazard reports this week or corrective actions closed on time. Boards show totals and trends, never names.

Planned

Languages

The interface starts in US English, with six languages planned in all. Your own content plays the way you upload it.

There is no “days since last injury” counter in ASIP Screens, not even as an option. A counter like that rewards silence and teaches people to stop reporting. You get boards that show reporting and follow-up instead.

Know the limits

A screen is not an alarm.

ASIP Screens is not a fire alarm, a mass-notification system or an emergency service. An emergency message on a screen adds to your alarms and your emergency plan. It does not replace them.

A screen that is off, unplugged, on another input or offline cannot show anything, and no screen is guaranteed to show a message. Screens on its own does not take a roll-call or a headcount.

In an emergency, follow your site's procedures and call 911 or your local emergency number.

With ASIP Crisis, a takeover is planned for the screens at the affected location only. Your other sites keep their normal content.

Questions

ASIP Screens FAQ

If yours is not here, ask us directly.

Can I sign up today?

Yes. Sign-up creates your ASIP account with two free screens and no card. The TV apps and the web player are in build, so check the device pages for where each player stands before you plan a rollout or buy hardware.

When do I need a card?

When you pair a third screen. Screens 1 and 2 need no card. Billing starts with the third screen and is monthly, 30 days in advance, plus tax where it applies.

What if I add a screen partway through a month?

It is charged in full when you add it, for the current billing period. There is no proration.

What hardware do I need?

A TV with an Amazon Fire TV, Google TV or Android TV device, or any display that can run a current web browser for the web player. There is no ASIP box to buy.

Is ASIP Screens an emergency alert system?

No. If you use ASIP Crisis, an emergency activation can take over the screens at the affected location. That adds to your alarms and your emergency plan and does not replace them. No screen is guaranteed to show a message, and Screens is not a fire alarm or a mass-notification system.

Who is responsible for what my screens show?

You are. You need the rights to everything you put on a screen, including video and web pages that belong to someone else.

What happens to my media if I cancel?

After a cancellation or a missed payment, your account is locked for a 30-day protection period and nothing is deleted. If the account is not brought back in that time, it closes and all stored media is permanently deleted. It cannot be recovered.

I use ASIP Reception. Do I get Screens?

No. ASIP Reception does not include any screens. If you want ASIP Screens too, sign up for it like anyone else: two screens free, then the normal Screens price. Screens is included only with ASIP Enterprise.
